Marrakech desert trip 4 days

After breakfast, our driver will pick you up from Marrakech. After that, you’ll embark on a four-day excursion from Marrakech to Merzouga. As a result, we choose the Tizi-N-Tichka upper mountain road. With a height of 2260 meters, it is also the highest mountain pass in the world. We’ll take a break to observe the scenery and ancient Berber communities. The Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou is our next stop. You will have the opportunity to see this well-known and UNESCO-listed Kasbah. It’s also a movie site including blockbusters like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. We also make a pit stop at Ouarzazate. This town is also a filming location, with Atlas Studios. We’ll stay here for the night, including dinner.

We leave Ouarzazate after breakfast and head to the Merzouga desert. So, we’ll drive via the Draa Valley, where you’ll observe one of Morocco’s longest rivers. Then we’ll have ample time in Nakoub for a local lunch. Second, we take in the scenery, which includes views of the mountain, neighboring Berber communities, and palm trees. We arrive in Merzouga later to change modes of transportation. That is to say, you go on a camel trekking expedition in Erg Chebbi’s Sahara. On your trip, you ride camels and take in the sunset. We’ll spend the night after dinner, admiring the lovely starry sky and listening to local music.

Today will begin with an early morning wake-up call. On the top of the sand dunes, you will see the sunrise. When you go back to the Merzouga hotel, you get a shower and breakfast. Our next stop is Rissani, where you can go to the weekly market. Apart from that, we travel from Rissani to Erfoud, where we visit a fossil factory, and then to Touroug. We immediately proceed to the palm groves to take photographs and eat lunch. Second, we travel to Tinghir town’s Todra Gorge. It is one of the most beautiful locations in the High Atlas Mountains. It is distinguished by high climbing rocks and a river that flows into the canyon. We’ll then drive to the Dades Valley, where we’ll eat dinner and spend the night.

The last day begins with breathtaking views of Dades Valley. We then continue on our journey, passing by other kasbahs along the way. In addition, we stop in Rose Valley and Skoura’s palm groves. Second, we’ll travel to Ouarzazat to see the Taourirt Kasbah. It is the Glaoui family’s old home. We drive back to Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah from here. In addition, we will make stops wherever you like. We return to Marrakech in the afternoon, passing over the Tizi-N-Tichka mountain pass. Finally, we will arrive in Marrakech, where the 4 days trip from Marrakech to Merzouga will come to a close.
